River Hill Pottery Art Week Event May 10, 9am-6pm

This event will be an open demonstration to the public at River Hill Pottery. Local artists will be painting with underglazes on thrown and hand-built mugs from River Hill Pottery. This will showcase the various styles and techniques that artists use. Visitors will be able to observe and interact with the artists as they create a one-of-a-kind mug by applying underglazes. Our goal is to share our process so that people will gain a better understanding of how glazing works. Fired mugs will be sold in the gallery, and proceeds will be donated to charity.
